About Philleo Agency

Hello, I’m Ron Philleo with Philleo Agency Insurance. I started Philleo Agency Insurance about 16 years ago, and I started out as a direct writer. It’s similar as like American Family or State Farm, Farmer’s, Allstate type agent, where I work for just one carrier. I did that for about 10 years. We build a very successful agency. After about 10 years, I realized there was a better way to serve my clients and that was to be an independent agent. So we formed an independent agency where we represent a multitude of companies rather than one company. We’ve been able to serve our clients better ever since.

A normal independent agency represents about four to five, maybe six or seven different carriers. We represent over 80 carriers. With that many choices, we can always find something beneficial for our clients on pricing and to make sure they have the right coverage.

What makes us a little different than most agencies? Well, there’s a lot of things that make us different. The fact that we represent so many carriers is a big difference; it gives us a lot more choices to serve our clients. Also our knowledge. We have five licensed agents here in the office. Every agent may specialize in a particular product or another. It really gives us an opportunity to serve our clients if they need something unusual as well, whether it be personal or commercial insurance.

We also pay real close attention to the details, and we make sure that it’s done right the first time. We don’t want any surprises when it comes to claim time, that you’ve got the right coverage. So we double-check it and makes sure that you’re set up properly.

Also being there. Being there for our clients is a big part of it. Our offices are open from 7:30 until 4:30 every work day. We do not use voicemail at our office. It’s one the things that sets us apart. When you call our office, you will always get a live person if it’s during business hours. Also, we can take requests from email as well, and faxes too.

Our location is 12555 West Burleigh Road, in Brookfield, Wisconsin, which is a suburb of Milwaukee. Generally we serve the entire state of Wisconsin as well as Illinois.
