I always appreciated the customer service, although I found coverage for less. I will consider them again if things change. They may want to check in with clients specifically regarding homeowners, as the market and costs of rebuilding in recent years has skyrocketed and I imagine many are grossly under insured.

We switched our insurance from Farmers to Philleo when we refinanced our house . It was the best thing we have done. They were able to save us so much money and they are always on top of everything. I called 4 different agencies to get liability coverage and never even got someone on the phone for longer than 1 minute before they wanted to pass things along to email.

Philleo was totally different. Gina took my information over the phone, answered all my questions, and got my organization the coverage we needed in less than 24 hours with a major carrier.

Phileo got me a stellar rate on bundling my insurance needs, and listened carefully as I peppered him with questions about coverage and rates. He never pressured me into anything, merely made suggestions on what he saw as best for my wife and I, but ultimately left the decision up to us. There is only pros, and no cons with choosing Phileo. Great customer service, better coverage, and the best rates.

UPDATE as of August, 2023: I have now been through a fairly major claim while still being serviced by Phileo. My opinion of them has only improved.

I had the pleasure of working with Gina at Philleo. My condo building was in the process of needing new flood insurance. Even though their agency didn’t handle the current flood insurance (they handle the other insurance for the condo) she went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me and we ended up obtaining it through their agency. They saved our condo thousands of dollars too! I would not hesitate to recommend Gina and Philleo Agency to anyone looking for a company who truly has their customers best interest in mind! My husband and I had a current auto plan thru Philleo but had needed a homeowners policy for a new house we purchased. Shannon compared our current insurance policies and showed where we were lacking insurance in a low pressure way. She gave suggestions on areas to improve and was able to provide us better insurance for less money. My rates were sky high... I had a couple speeding tickets and my rather expensive car was stolen and totaled. To add insult to injury, my old insurance company dropped me as if it was my fault.

Furious, I shopped around and got a pretty good deal through Philleo (still high based on my history and through no fault of Philleo) but better than I could find on my own. This last year I shot an email to Laura Poppies and just kindly asked “any chance we can do better?”

An hour later I had a quote saving me ~$800 a year. I signed some e-docs, made the payment over the phone and had my new ID cards within a day.

I trust Laura and this agency to do the right thing, and do the best thing. Thank you

The customer service that we received was above and beyond anything that we have ever experienced. Stephanie was able to help us with everything that we needed. When my daughter was old enough to get her own insurance, she notified us and was able to get her set up on her own as well as saving us money in the process because we are paying her insurance payments until she gets done with college.If I ever have a question or need information, I know that all I have to do is email or call Stephanie and she will help me with whatever I need. I have used Philleo for years. More like decades actually. Business, auto, home, you name it. The folks there are so easy to work with, and they really go out of their way to help you out. Ron is doing it the right way, hiring the right people around him. I've come to Ron with questions about things not insurance related, and he's always given me great advice.
